Methi Paratha Recipe

Winter meals are incomplete without fresh green leaves. And one of the simplest ways to enjoy them is by rolling out parathas. Take a look at this simplest Methi Paratha recipe, which is made with fresh and tender methi leaves and are best served with curd and pickle.

Ingredients required

1 cup fenugreek leaves, 2 cups wheat flour, salt to taste, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 green chilli, 2-4 garlic cloves, water as required, and ghee or oil for cooking

Step 1

Wash and finely chop the fenugreek leaves and add them to a mixing bowl.

Step 2

Add flour to the same bowl and combine them well.

Step 3

Add salt, pepper, garlic cloves, and green chilli. Use enough water to knead a soft dough.

Step 4

Cut out small balls of the dough and dust flour on them.

Step 5

Roll out parathas of desired thickness and in the meantime heat a tawa.

Step 6

Place the paratha on tawa and cook on a low flame. Using enough oil or ghee on both sides.

Step 7

Your homemade Methi Paratha is ready. Enjoy with curd and pickle or Pudina Chatani.
